Victoria Community Leadership Awards celebrate the inspiring stories and successes of community leadership in Greater Victoria. For more than a decade, our region’s business, government and community sectors have been recognizing the contributions of people and organizations who demonstrate commitment, inspiration, encouragement and accomplishment.
The next Victoria Community Leadership Awards celebration will be on March 2nd, 2016, at Government House, under the patronage of the Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.
We are excited to announce a new format for Victoria's pre-eminent celebration of community leaders! Instead of nine Awards with different categories and criteria for selection, in 2017 we will recognize 20-24 people (or teams) who have had a significant positive impact on the Greater Victoria community through their leadership. We will share a diversity of stories and honour all of these leaders for their contribution. Please visit our Selection page to learn more about how these stories will be chosen.
Anyone can nominate a friend, colleague or role model for the Victoria Community Leadership Awards. Nominations will be accepted from November 9th to December 15th, 2016. Nominees don't need to be famous or superhuman - tell us the story of a person you think has been a leader in their own unique way.
With the support of additional sponsors, three of Greater Victoria’s leading community organizations partner to bring this event to life in 2017: Leadership Victoria Society, University of Victoria, and The Victoria Foundation.
