Frank Low - University of Victoria Award for Exemplary Leadership & Collaboration

Frank-Low.jpegBorn and raised in Victoria, Frank Low has lived most of his life in this community, attended UVic, and is currently a Branch Manager for RBC Royal Bank, chairing the Regional Recruitment Team. He has been a financial services professional for 33 years, 30 of those in a sales management capacity. He has his Chartered Financial Planner designation, and has completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s Mutual Fund Course and the Branch Manager’s Course.

Frank has been or is currently involved in governance roles with various societies including the Victoria Chinese Commerce, the Victoria Christian Education Society, the BC Children’s Hospital Community Board, the Victoria Chinatown Community Care Foundation, and is a Lifetime Member of the Chinatown Care Society. He also serves on his church’s Board of Deacons in the capacity of Financial Officer. 

Frank has volunteered in many capacities for the University of Victoria, as an assessor at mock interviews for Bachelor of Commerce students, as a panelist in their annual Case Competitions, and as an Executive Mentor for MBA students. 

Mr. Low is an excellent representation of a member of the community who recognizes the value of connections with the university, and how society can benefit from these relationships. We are proud to nominate such deserving individual for this Victoria Leadership Award.
